Sky Juice | Local Cocktail From The Bahamas, Caribbean | TasteAtlas

Sky Juice

Sky Juice is a creamy cocktail originating from the Bahamas. It is made with a combination of gin, coconut water, and sweetened condensed milk. In order to prepare it, all ingredients are mixed together, then spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon, if desired.

The cocktail is typically served over ice. There are many varieties of Sky Juice, so gin is sometimes replaced with rum. The name of the cocktail was concocted by the bartenders at Goldie’s Conch House, who left the interpretations open-ended.

However, if you find yourself in Malaysia, asking for a Sky Juice will only get you a glass of water, because Sky Juice and water are synonymous in the country. It is recommended to pair Bahamian Sky Juice with hearty meals such as cracked conch, macaroni & cheese, or peas and rice.
