Rum Collins

Rum Collins is a variety of the classic Tom Collins cocktail. It differentiates itself from the classic version by replacing the gin with light rum. Besides rum, the cocktail is made with a combination of lime juice, carbonated water, and sugar.

In order to prepare it, rum, sugar, and lime juice should be shaken, then strained into a collins glass over ice. The combination is then topped with carbonated water, and the cocktail is typically garnished with a lemon slice and a cherry before serving.
