Nixon

Nixon is a cocktail made with a combination of bourbon, sloe gin, and a few dashes of peach bitters. In order to prepare it, all ingredients should be stirred and served on the rocks. The cocktail is typically garnished with a peach slice and a cherry.

It was invented by the legendary bartender Joe Gilmore of the American Bar at the Savoy Hotel in London, who created it to commemorate Richard Nixon’s visit to the country in 1969.
