This cheese has nutty aromas, while the flavors are robust, savory, and tangy, with a sharp and nutty finish. Elk Mountain cheese is named after a mountain that's near the Rogue River, where it's produced. It's recommended to pair Elk Mountain with a glass of Syrah, Champagne, or Viognier.
