The Luxury Masters - Gold

2022

Forty Creek Copper Bold is a Canadian whisky known for its rich aroma and full-bodied character. Formerly known as Copper Pot, this expression is crafted by expertly blending individually aged whiskies made from corn, rye, and barley, then further matured in oak barrels to enhance depth and complexity.

Bottled at 43% ABV, Copper Bold delivers intense notes of caramel, toasted nuts, and warm spices, while the palate reveals layers of rich brown spice, dried stone fruits, and a subtle hint of marmalade. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a warm, lingering impression.

This whisky is ideal for sipping neat or over ice, offering a bold and refined take on Canadian whisky craftsmanship.

About Forty Creek Distillery

Forty Creek Whisky is a Canadian distillery located in Grimsby, Ontario, renowned for its innovative approach to whisky making. Founded in 1992 by John Hall, an experienced winemaker, the distillery has set new standards in the Canadian whisky industry.

One of Forty Creek’s key innovations is the separate fermentation, distillation, and aging of different grains—corn, rye, and barley—before they are carefully blended. This unique method allows each grain to contribute its own character to the final flavor profile.

In 2000, Forty Creek introduced its most iconic whisky, Barrel Select, which quickly earned numerous awards and critical acclaim. The distillery has continued to innovate, releasing limited editions and special series that explore new flavors and techniques.  Read more

In 2014, Forty Creek became part of the Campari Group, enabling the brand to expand into international markets. Despite the change in ownership, the distillery remains committed to quality and innovation, as reflected in accolades such as “Whisky Maker of the Decade” at the Canadian Whisky Awards in 2020.
