Mulata Daiquiri

Mulata is a sweet and creamy daiquiri variation. The cocktail combines aged rum, crème de cacao, lime juice, and demerara syrup. To prepare the cocktail, all the ingredients are shaken with ice, and the mix is strained into a glass.

Mulata is usually served without ice in a coupe glass. It is typically garnished with a lime wheel. Although it is traditionally shaken, it also exists in a blended variation. Mulata is an old cocktail, probably dating to mid-20th century Cuba. It is believed that it was created at the legendary Floridita.
