"Simple yet spectacular was a quince poached in pomegranate juice enjoyed at Haci Abdullah. Chilled and halved, it’s hollowed-out tummy spilled forth a stunning cornucopia of moistened dried fruits and nuts that had been stuffed inside. A generous dollop of clotted cream kept me from being carried off by the bright and tang of the fruit juices."
