Gosset Grand Blanc de Blancs Brut is an elegant and refined Champagne crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes, primarily sourced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions. In line with the traditions of the House of Gosset, this cuvée does not undergo malolactic fermentation, preserving the wine’s natural freshness and vibrant acidity.
It is aged on the lees for a minimum of three years, which adds complexity, a creamy texture, and a fine, persistent mousse. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers, lemon zest, almond, and chalky minerality. On the palate, it is clean, precise, and fresh, with notes of green apple, citrus fruit, and a subtle hint of toast, leading to a long and lively finish.
Champagne House Gosset is the oldest wine house in the Champagne region, founded in 1584 in the village of Aÿ by Pierre Gosset, a winemaker and alderman at the time. Initially, the house produced still red wines from grapes grown in its own vineyards.
In the 18th century, as the wines of Aÿ began to sparkle, Gosset naturally transitioned to Champagne production, all while preserving its distinctive style and unwavering commitment to quality. Today, Gosset is renowned for its prestigious cuvées, including Gosset Grande Réserve, Gosset Grand Rosé, Gosset Grand Blanc de Blancs, Gosset Grand Millésime 2016, Gosset Petite Douceur Rosé, 12 ans de cave a minima Rosé, Gosset 21 ans de cave a minima, as well as the exclusive vintage cuvées from the Gosset Celebris line.
