"As a huge fan of tuna tataki, this was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. The vinaigrette was light but perfectly seasoned the tuna."

"Undeniably the course that everyone is waiting in anticipation for, the fish used for the omakase can change daily, depending on what Chef Taka chooses to serve (based on the freshest fish available). If you’re a sushi lover, this will kind of ruin you forever because your sushi standards will raise significantly... I actually yelled out “I’m ruined!” after finishing the omakase (ha!)."

"This miso soup was unlike any miso I’ve ever had. The miso ingredients are locally sourced and the flavor is amazing, The smokiness of the bacon and sablefish were a perfect flavor combo and the cocktail was my favorite of all the pairings. We were recommended to alternate taking sips of the cocktail and spoonfuls of the soup. I finally understand how well-thought-out food and cocktail pairings can really enhance flavors and play off of each other!"

"Diners have the opportunity here to order the Omakase tasting menu which is an extraordinary experience or ala carte from the menu, or you may want to indulge in one of their sushi. This is by far one of the best sushi restaurants in the city, truly a favorite of mine; as well Chef Takayuki Omi is leading the way in serving Oceanwise product and educating the people who enjoy his food as well as the notable culinary experience."

"Try some small plates with some Nigiri. This is by far one of the best sushi restaurants in the city, truly a favorite of mine; as well Chef Takayuki Omi is leading the way in serving Oceanwise product and educating the people who enjoy his food as well as the notable culinary experience."

"The Scallop in Aburi Scallop Nigiri was large, fresh and sweet and the torched mayo didn’t overwhelm the delicateness of the scallop at all. The Wagyu Nigiri was melt in the mouth tender and the sauce added a nice smokiness. The standout for me was the Wild Salmon Nigiri and the Steelhead Salmon Nigiri. The wild salmon had a firm texture and a strong fresh salmon flavor. The Steelhead salmon was smooth and buttery and melted in my mouth."
